  • Halki has many small beaches to swim, but only one is sandy and organized. Pontamos beach is one kilometer away from Emporios and has all the basic facilities and comforts, plus some excellent choices for a lunch or a dinner in a tavern by the sea.
  • In "Ftenagia Restaurant", located on the homonym beach, you will enjoy the famous "pasta of Halki", a domestic recipe that you won't forget.
  • You'll have the most perfect and romantic dinner on the island in a tavern located on Kania beach, just beside the sea's blue water and under the trees, enjoying unique sea-appetizers and traditional Greek recipes.

Don't forget

Transportation across the island is made by foot or by bicycle. If there are kids or elders with you, make sure you know the course's conditions before you go and prefer to wear sneakers instead of sandals or flip-flops.
